In April 2012, the current community center will become the home of the new Phoenix Kroc Corps Community Center which is a 147,000 square feet state of the art community center for The Salvation Army. The new center will provide programming for approximately 20,000 community members. Kevin will be involved in a variety of committees including finance, facilities management, and leadership. Mr. Helland is honored to serve The Salvation Army and the South Mountain community which comprises its membership and to assist in fulfilling the overall mission of the facility and organization.
Kevin Helland joined GPE Commercial Advisors as a Senior Vice President of commercial real estate sales in 2009. Mr. Helland has been nearly a life-long resident of the Phoenix area where he has conducted business for the past 25 years. Kevin's areas of focus include office sales/leasing, owner-user representation, investment sales and commercial land sales. Mr. Helland has sharpened his real estate acumen by serving in a variety of roles including real estate developer, broker, and consultant.
Prior to entering the commercial real estate sales industry, Mr. Helland enjoyed a role as senior consultant at Ernst & Young LLP's National Real Estate Advisory Practice. During his tenure with Ernst & Young, Mr. Helland specialized in property valuation and completed assignments for a variety of real estate uses including apartment projects, industrial projects, golf course projects, mixed-use properties, and residential subdivisions.
