BOMA stands for Building Owners and Managers Association and their mission statement is as follows~ “To actively and responsibly represent and promote the interests of the commercial real estate industry through effective leadership and advocacy, through the collection, analysis and dissemination of information, and through professional development.”

Their membership is made up of two categories. The Regular BOMA membership is composed of companies, partnerships or other entities, owning or managing office, medical, apartment, condominium, shopping center or other commercial buildings containing at least 10,000 square feet. The Associate membership is composed of companies or businesses providing products or services to the commercial real estate industry. Jointly, these two groups work to accomplish the goals set forth by this organization.

Valley Partnership’s mission addresses four important areas:

Advocacy
Advising, influencing and monitoring state, county and local governments on issues affecting the real estate development industry.

Education
Educating members regarding current regulations, new ordinances, laws and other actions that impact real estate development.

Networking
Providing the opportunity to meet, communicate and work with decision makers of prominent companies in the development and commercial real estate industry. These opportunities include special events, community projects and regular monthly Friday Morning Breakfast meetings.

Community Projects
Utilizing the skills, efforts and supplies provided by our members to renovate and enhance facilities for children and those in need. To date, Valley Partnership and its members have completed 20 community projects and donated nearly $3 million in time, materials and labor to the community.

GPE is also actively involved with Business Clubs America (BCA), NAIOP, Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.
